John Miller Obituary
John E. Miller, age 71 of Mesopotamia, passed away at St. Joseph Hospital Tuesday, July 21, 2020. He was born in Chardon on March 16, 1949 to Ervin J and Edna (Mast) Miller. He married Fannie Beachey Nov. 5, 1968 and they attended Grace Community Chapel. John loved music, especially old country, and the orchestra. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians, enjoyed fishing, loved cherry pie and chocolate cake. He was compassionate and loved his family. He will be missed by his family and friends.
John is survived by his beloved wife Fannie Miller of 51 years, six sons, John Daniel (Tanya), Jason, Paul, Thomas (Fannie), Joshua, and Josiah Miller, 7 daughters, Ruth (Jerry) Gingerich, Rebekah (Elvie) Miller, Keturah (Ben) Troyer, Elizabeth (Jonas) Wagler, Julia (Andrew) Hershberger, Maria (Dennis) Bontrager, and Tabitha (Joas) Gingerich, 30 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren (and one on the way), four brothers, Ervin (Fannie), Marvin (Naomi), Melvin (Carol), and Allen Miller, 6 sisters, Barbara Sue (LeRoy) Troyer, Becky (Noah) Miller, Edna (Mose) Troyer, Mary (Robert) Miller, Martha (Rudy) Hostetler, and Fannie (Bob) Farmwald. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Andrew E Miller.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Mespo Center, 4300 Kinsman Rd., Mesopotamia, Ohio. The Funeral Service will be 10:30 AM Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the Mespo Center. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Mesopotamia.
