John “Jack” Robert Fuller

 “Jack” Robert Fuller, 80, found his angels and went in the light of the Lord on June 10, 2024, to be reunited with his wife, Rose.  He was always surrounded with love and passed exceptionally peaceful.
Jack was born on January 15th, 1944, in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert and Marie (Obdrzalek) Fuller. He graduated in 1962 from Our Lady of Lourdes, where he was a dominant athlete in Football, Basketball and Track.  Many classmates referred to him as “Jungle Jake” and was a Class Acrobat, an Industrious Decorator, and a Decathlon Star and had agility in aerial antics and was nominated as Most Helpful and Most Active back in his High School days.
On June 14th, 1969, he married his lifetime partner Rosemarie (Lengel) Fuller and laid their roots down in Parkman, Ohio where they have resided ever since.
Catholic faith was carried on as they (Jack and Rose) were members of St. Edwards Catholic Church.  They also were very much contributors to youth athletics.
Jack retired from Mercury Plastics in maintenance, but his retirement was far from being completed.  He carried on his parents’ roots of their part time farm his parents had, to his love and own legacy of farming his own empire and farm.  JRFullerFarms.
He was a “Jack of all trades”, Jack could do just about anything or fix anything as well.  Not only did he love farming, but he also tinkered with restoring old antique cars.  Where he’d spend countless hours restoring his 2 vehicles, or just doing burnouts shifting gears on pavement.  Or he would love to go to Car shows all around in the surrounding areas.  He loved being a teacher at heart, to anyone who would listen to his technique, which was his nephew, Donnie Gatrell and Len Hall and very dear friend, Tony Lanesky.  He would instill in his two daughters the value of how to properly change the oil on their cars or change the tires if needed or make sure the tractors were greased and set before mowing grass.  His love didn’t stop just at antique cars, as his love grew more for farming his gears shifted to restoring tractors.  He’d love to see all the old and new and up-to-date equipment there was to see to compliment his farming needs.  That didn’t go without taking some road trips with his great friend/cousin Jerry Jacobs or Adam Soltis as he always loved a good adventure in a car ride to see what he could see.
Jack was not a man of many words, his character spoke for himself, he was admirable, kindhearted, selfless, loving, impeccable work ethic, he was honorable and would help anyone in need.  His handshake meant his word and when he spoke, it was words of wisdom.  He had a wonderful, playful personality that would crack jokes on command, as he always loved a good joke.  He was always playing around but that's who Jack was.
When he wasn’t farming, he loved long conversations with Butch Harrison, Jerry Jacobs and Denny Rydell and cannot count the countless vacation trips with the “Soltis Gang”.

He will especially be missed by his friends and dearly loved by his two loving daughters: Christina (David) Priem and Kimberly (William) Domen III.  His 3 grandchildren who were his pride and joy that would bring an infectious smile to his face: Nicholas Priem, Haley and Troy Domen. He will be deeply missed by his dog Gracie who shared countless Cheerios at breakfast with him.
He was overjoyed to be an Uncle to all his Nieces and Nephews:  Len & Pat Hall & Triplets – Donnie & Nikki and their son Alec – Michele & Matt Zayakosky and their two Daughters – Joey Lengel and his 3 Children.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose, of 55 years (June 14th), Rosemarie (Lengel) Fuller, his parents, Robert and Marie Fuller, his infant brother Frank Fuller, and his sister Phyllis Gatrell.
Jack's family and friends will miss his warm presence and the stories he shared about his life and collections.

Calling hours will be held at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High StreetMiddlefield on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 2:00-4:00, and 6:00 -8:00 PM.
The Funeral will be on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 12:00 PM at St. Edwards Church 16150 Center St, Parkman, OH, with Father Jacob Bearer officiating.
Burial will follow in Overlook Cemetery, Parkman, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Rescue Village in Jack's memory.
