Jill J. (Puckett) Byler

Jill J. Byler, age 64 of Troy Township, Ohio, passed away at her home on Saturday, September 25, 2021. She was born in Cleveland on July 16, 1957, daughter of Randy and Margaret (Johnston) Puckett. She was a graduate of Kenston High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Montana State University.

Jill was a lifelong member of Auburn Community Church and attended Parkside Church. She married David J Byler October 10, 1992. They lived in Troy Township 26 years. She loved spending time sitting with her husband and their son, Davey. She was an insurance underwriter for Ohio Mutual Insurance group for 15 years.

Jill loved being outdoors, especially spending time on the water. She enjoyed traveling to the family cottage in Canada, walking in the woods, picking up sticks, gardening, going on spring trips to Florida, and she was an avid Brown’s fan. She will be remembered from those she touched. For nothing loved is ever lost...and she was loved so much.

Jill is survived by her beloved husband Dave, of over 28 years, her son David R. Byler of Colorado, her mother Margaret Puckett of Auburn, and two brothers, Randall J Puckett of WI, and Jack N. Puckett of Ravenna. She is preceded in death by her father Randy Puckett and her brother Jamess T. Puckett who died in 2020.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Rd., Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023. She will be buried in Shadyside Cemetery in Auburn Township on a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, PO Box 931517, Cleveland OH 44193-1655.
