Jerry Lee Lewis, 65, of Nelson Township passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2023, at UH Portage Medical Center with his family by his side.
Jerry graduated from Labrae High School and went on to work at Swagelock in Solon, Ohio, and Woodcrafts in Orwell, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cars. He wanted to be a farmer just like his grandpa, so with that desire he went on to raise small animals and chickens. His very favorite thing though was to spend time with his family, especially his grandkids teaching them all he knew.
Jerry will be greatly missed by his family- his children, Jennifer (David) Morris, Emily (Cody) Patchin, Jessica (Robert) Jusek, Amanda Morrison, his grandchildren, Merandia, Mackenzie, Dustin, Makayla, Ian, Mason, Parker, Colt, Melanie, Ayden, Autumn, ,Zander, Aurelius, Maximus, Avery and Cyrus, great grandchild Greyson, siblings, Joe Lewis, Christine (Larry) Brown, Brian (Michele) Lewis, and Adam (Jackie McLean) Lewis. Beside his parents, her was preceded in death by his stepson Steven Morrison, and siblings, Regina Marie Placek, Ralph Lewis, and Mary Beth Booth.
Per Jerry’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
