Jamess Thomas Puckett, 58, of Auburn Township died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020. Born on September 10, 1962, Jamess is preceded in death by his father, Randy, and survived by his mother, Joyce, brothers, Randy (Roberta) and Jack, as well as his sister, Jill Byler (Dave), and nieces, Lindsay and Caitlin, and nephew, Dave. He also leaves behind children, Isabelle Ebie (Michael) and Johnston Puckett, as well as close friend, Paula Pemberton, and his loving companion of 9 years, Merry Cooke.
A 1980 graduate of Kenston High School, Jamess attended Kent State University before starting his career at Kinetico and later went on to be a highly regarded Senior Field Technician for Trionetics and was sought after for his expertise throughout the country where he travelled extensively and became like family to owners Phil and Colleen Maitino and everyone he worked with.
Jamess was best known for his gigantic personality and his smile lit up a room anywhere he went. He loved spending his precious free time outdoors, whether with his family and beloved dog, Oxy, at their cottage in Canada, to being with Merry boating on Lake Erie in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter.
In lieu of flowers, Jamess would instead prefer you honor his memory by toasting him with a shot of Royal Flush, his own favorite! Donations can be made through the Middlefield Bank to The Jamess Puckett Celebration of Life Fund: 11110 Kinsman Road, Suite 1, Newbury OH 44065
Due to the effects of COVID-19, services for Jamess will be private for family only, however, a celebration of life is being planned for a future date.
