James Takacs Obituary
James M. Takacs, 71 of N. Bloomfield, formerly of Middlefield, and Troy Township, passed away at UH Geauga Medical Center Wednesday February 19, 2020. He was born September 22, 1948 in Cleveland to the late Joseph A. and Beatrice P. (Soika) Takacs. James graduated from Burton High School and worked as a welder for Stock Equipment in Bainbridge, Ohio until he retired.
James will be sadly missed by his sister, Patricia Novak, his twin brother, Joseph Takacs, his step-grandchildren, Ashley (James) Hosmer, Amber Wrentmore, Alan Wrentmore Jr., great-grandchildren, Kahlan Kathryn Hosmer, Damian Hosmer, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Helen M. (Bellar) Takacs who passed away December 13, 2015.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 2:00–4:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio 44062.
