James F. Blazek 83 in West Farmington passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Trumbull memorial hospital. He was born in Cleveland Ohio November 15, 1938 to the late James George and MaryAnn (Vokral) Blazek. James graduated from John Adams high school in Cleveland and attended Fenn College in Cleveland. He was a civil engineer for the department of transportation of Ohio, Northern Ohio paving and Velotta paving. He also was a beef and hay farmer. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, sport shooting, collecting antique farm equipment, a member of the Farm Bureau, an accomplished woodworker, and a generous friend to many in the community.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Jennifer (Scott Bitner) the Blazek of West Farmington, his granddaughters Kore (Nick) Rasey of Napoleon, Ohio and Leah Bitner of West Farmington, his great grandchildren, Finn Rasey, and Tessa Rasey. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Marie Elaine who passed away September 25, 2021 and his Brother John Blazek.
