Jack Dennis Kaminski, 75 of Middlefield passed away Sunday July 25, 2021, at UH Geauga Medical Center surrounded by his family . He was born April 25, 1946, in Chardon to the late Stanley and Mary Elizabeth (Adams) Kaminski. He graduated from Grand Valley High School and attended Defiance College. He served with the US Air Force from 1967-1971. Jack worked as a Lineman for CEI and after his retirement he started Kaminski Trucking. His father gave him his first pony where he started showing and Pony Pulling. He then started showing and pulling draft horses where he would always help others in the Draft Horse community. Jack also enjoyed farming, fishing, and attending his kids and grandkids sporting events.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Barb Herakovic who he married December 24, 1967, his children, Angel (Ted) Chudzik of Orwell, Jack (Shelby) Kaminski of Windsor, grandchildren, Lucas Varner, Alex Chudzik, Eve, Ivy, Jessman, Nora Jean, Jett, Zebulon Kaminski, his sister Joanne Hopes of Orwell, a brother-in-law, Mike Herakovic of Middlefield, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Teddie Lynn Chudzik.
A Celebration of his life with a Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday July 31, 2021, from 11:00 – 3:00 PM at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 16280 Kinsman Rd, Middlefield, OH 44062. There will be Military Honors held at 11:30 AM by The American Legion Atwood-Mauck Post #459.
