Irene N. Loze 94 of Middlefield passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family, Sunday February 4, 2024. She was born in Windsor, Ohio to the late Nick and Anna (Ezbanska) Nesterak. She married the love of her life Max S. Loze on January 27, 1956. Irene worked for Eppley Company, Johnson Rubber, and Blossom Hill Nursing Home where she retired in 1997. She enjoyed shopping, canning, babysitting her grandchildren, crafts, but most of all spending time with her family and getting together for Sunday dinners.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Rob (Karen) Loze, Al (Evelyn) Loze, Marcia (David) Pleva, Karen (Bryan) Retych, 8 grandchildren, Melissa (Rich), Kala, Shelly, Megan (Donnie), Zach (Alyssa), Samantha, Max, Emily, 3 great grandchildren, Allie, Brodie, and Paislee. She is also survived by her sister, Betty Phillips Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, sisters, Helen Jakobi, Ann Button and Julie Sado, Tillie Bowser and brother, Steve Nesterak.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday February 7, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio 44062. Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday February 8, 2024, at the Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Kaser officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Middlefield Cemetery following the service.
