Ida Mae Miller (Tilly), 68, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Born in Middlefield on October 26, 1951,with special needs. Tilly was a resident of Metzenbaum Center in Chesterland since 1979. Tilly loved spending time with family, which usually included a trip to McDonald’s for a strawberry milkshake. She enjoyed listening to music, especially John Denver, Singing Nuns, and Peter, Paul and Mary. She always carried with her a family photo album, a baby doll, and a watch to wear. Tilly enjoyed working at the Metzenbaum Workshop and always had a smile on her face.

Tilly is survived by her sisters and brothers, Elizabeth (David) Brazofsky, Ervin (Cheryl) Miller, Rhoda Blough, Mark (Karen) Miller, Lois (David) Tiber, Loren (MaryAnn) Miller, Frank Smith, and Sharon (James) Horvath, 24 nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mahlon and Sara (Yoder) Miller, sister Gail (Miller) Smith, and brother in law Ronald Blough. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
