Heidi Lorraine (Sayre) Sanda

Heidi Sanda (Sayre) 58, formerly of Burton Ohio passed away August 24th 2023. 

Heidi leaves behind her husband Tom of nearly 40 years, children Zak, Ben (Amber), Elizabeth (Bruce) and Alexandria, Grandchildren Anaria, Isabella, Jayla, Quentin, Sophia, Abraham, William, Nicolai. Mother in law Marie Sanda. Siblings Jerome (Debbie) Sayre Jr., Ellen (Richard) Shepherd, LuAnn Currence, John (Kathy)
Sayre, Melissa (Rick) LaDow, Peter (Sheila) Sayre, Laura Pierce and many, many nieces and nephews.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her, especially her children, grandchildren and her dog Zuul who was always by her side.

Heidi loved her children and grandchildren deeply. She adored being a Grandma and bragged about her grandchildren often, even if from afar. Her family was her life, even when she wasn't around them, she spoke highly of them all and cherished reminiscing of times past.

Heidi remained stoic throughout her life no matter what obstacle she encountered, and continued to remain strong and care for all those around her. She was one of the toughest women you would ever meet. She gave her life to others in every sense of the word.

Heidi was an avid gardner with a green thumb that could grow a rock. A phenomenal cook that would brutally critique anyone's cooking. She was known for many things; her Sunday breakfasts, pizza, cinnamon rolls, soups, her love of holidays and decorations, her heart of gold and much, much more. She had a love of horror movies and reading, especially Stephen King.

Heidi was always welcoming, able to make friends any where she went. She was a loving soul and would try and take care of anyone and everyone. She would give her last cent to anyone, the most selfless person you have ever met.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jo Ann and Jerome Sayre Sr, brothers, William and David Sayre, nephews Shaun Sayre, Jacob Shepherd and Jack Cochran lll. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, from 1 0:00 -12:00 PM with a time of sharing at 12:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield Ohio 44062. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson, Ohio.
