Eugene E. Hart, 71, of West Farmington, passed away May 14, 2020 surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born October 23, 1948 to the late Leroy and Louise (Consla) Hart in Erie, Pennsylvania. Eugene was a fire fighter for Parkman Township for many years and worked as a truck driver for Arms Trucking until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, helping his neighbors, and fixing things. Eugene served in the US Army and the United States Marine Corp. He was active duty in the Vietnam War, a member of the VFW and the Color Guard in Pennsylvania and also a lifetime member of the VFW in Geneva.
Eugene will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lorna (Cole) Hart, sons Albert Hart, BJ (Kandy) Hart, Leroy (Tabbetha) Hart, daughters Kay (Mike) Smallrich, Carol (Dan) Rhodes, Sabrina (Joel Wilt) Cole, brother Delmas Hart, sister Bonnie Hawkins, grandchildren Crystal, Becky, Alec, Catherine, Jerry, Andrew, Ella, Ben, and one on the way, five great-grandchildren and one on the way and his companion Dutchess.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by stepson Jerry Cole and granddaughter Nicole Ross. Private services will be held.
