Emma Mae Adkins

Emma Mae Adkins, 85, of Burton passed away Monday July 29, 2024, at Burton Health Care. She was born July 19, 1939, in Witcher’s Creek, WV. to the late Seth Edward and Rhoda (Wells) Adkins. She was a hard worker and enjoyed her family.  

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Cathy Bukovics and Fran Adkins, son, Chester Jones, grandchildren, Robert and Brad Bukovics, Carin Jones, Amy (Brian) Wheelelock,and David Okazaki Jr.,  great grandchildren, Damion, Zander and Syrus Wheelelock.  She is also survived by her sister, Jean Kakomy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie J. Adkins, bother Robert Adkins, and sister Relda Moore.

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM until her Service at 12:00 PM Friday August 2, 2024, at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street. Middlefield, Ohio 44062.  Chaplin Charles Pahlman will be officiating.  Burial will be at Munn Cemetery following the service. 

The Family would like to invite everyone to join them at the Kiwanis Community Center for a meal and time of fellowship after the cemetery.
