Edward Marion Morrison Jr.

Edward Marion Morrison Jr., 58, of Champion, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 21, 2025. Born April 7, 1967, in Okinawa, Japan, he was the son of the Edward Marion Morrison and Chiyoko (Maeda) Morrison of Champion/Warren.

Edward was a devoted husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather whose quiet strength and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. He married the love of his life, Cindy Jo (Springer) Morrison, who stood faithfully by his side through every chapter of their lives together.

A talented software engineer and programmer, Edward approached his work with curiosity, creativity, and precision. His intelligence and passion for learning extended far beyond his career. He was a proud member of Mensa, an avid fan of Superheroes, and a lifelong enthusiast of Dungeons & Dragons and other role-playing games, where his imagination and storytelling always shone brightly.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Jo Morrison; his mother, Chiyoko (Maeda) Morrison; his daughter, Elektra Mackenzie Morrison; his stepsons, Clayton Landrus and Devon Landrus (with Jo Carlson); and his sister, Lisa Wiece. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Lili and Leo, as well as many nieces and nephews who will remember him with affection.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Marion Morrison.

Edward will be remembered for his sharp mind, his warm humor, his love of fantasy and storytelling, and the unwavering devotion he showed to his family. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
