Douglas Malensek Obituary

Douglas Allan Malensek, 60 of Hambden passed away at his home Friday, October 8, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born June 19, 1961, in Warren, Ohio to the late Lee and Barbara (Ferry) Malensek. Doug graduated from Berkshire High School and served in the US Army. He worked at Meritec in Painsville. Doug was an avid Ohio State and Cowboy’s Fan. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and hanging out with his friends.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Kim who he married August 31, 1985, sons, Doug “DJ” Malensek Jr, Eric Malensek, sister, Roberta (Mike) Garling, brothers, Ted (Carol), Robert (Stacy) Randell, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.

As per Doug’s wishes there will be private services held.
