Diana Garrett Obituary
Diana Jean Garrett, 79, of Troy Ohio, formerly of Newbury Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2022. She was born December 11, 1942, in Cleveland Ohio to the late Daniel and Genevieve (Walsh) Kocka. Diana’s interests included bowling, baking, crossword puzzles , and she was an avid reader.
She will be sadly missed by her children Jodi (David) Protsik, Dawn (Thomas) Politzer,
Kimberly (Michael) Medina, Brian (Sarah) Garrett, Daughter in law Kristina Garrett,
sister Audrey (Ed) Durivage; and grandchildren, Joshua (Whitney) Garrett, Taylor (Peter) Herbener,
Emma (James O’Brien) Protsik, Hannah Protsik, Justin Politzer, Matthew Politzer, Gwyneth Medina, Kate Medina, Kai Garrett, and Asa Garrett.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William, son Michael, and brother Daniel Kocka.
Calling hours will be held Monday, August 22, 2022, from 4-7:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 West High Street, Middlefield Ohio 44062. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday August 23, 2022 at St. Edwards Church 16150 Center Street Parkman, Ohio 44080 at 10:00 AM with Father Jacob Bearer officiating. Burial will take place immediately following the mass at Troy cemetery in Troy Township.
