Denise Koeth Obituary
Denise Marie Koeth, 70, of Huntersville, NC, formerly of Middlefield, passed away Friday September 2, 2022. She was born January 18, 1952 in Cleveland to the late Paul and MaryJo (D’Amico) Longo. She graduated from Berkshire High School in (1970). She was owner and operator of Scotts Home Bakery for many years and worked as the office supervisor in the admissions office for both Ursuline Collage and Davidson Day School. Denise was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Huntersville, a former member of St. Lucy’s in Middlefield. She was a member of the Jayceettes in Middlefield. Denise enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed entertaining friends and family, playing Bunko, Pinnacle, traveling where she visited South Africa, Italy, Ireland, and Paris. She also was a member of the Wild Hearts Book Club.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Dennis M. Koeth, children; Terry (Lauren) White Jr. of Los Angles, CA, Tanya (Kevin) Hyland of Dayton, Ohio, Jason (Tami) Koeth of Madison, WI., Jessica (Codi) Koeth of Cle Elum, WA., 8 grandchildren, Isabella, Catherine, Ryan, Peyton, Canyon, Dakoda, Grace, sisters; Paula Jo (Robert) Boykin of Cornelius, NC., Valerie (Steve) Frank of Concord, NC., brothers; Richard (Sue) Longo of Cornelius, NC., Charles Longo of Columbus, OH., many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her fur babies, Paulie and Rosie. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Allen Longo, and a infant sister, Brenda Longo.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield, OH 44062. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday September 7, 2022 at St. Helens Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd, Newbury, OH 44065 with Father Jay McPhillips officiating. She will be laid to rest at a later date in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio
