David Edward Tatsch, 76 of Windsor, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on May 7, 1944 in Cleveland to the late Harold and Hazel Inell (Riblet) Tatsch. David was a member of National Guard from 1965-1971. He married Mary Elizabeth Huffman Feb. 7, 1969 and lived in Canton. They later moved to Windsor where they lived for 50 years. David was an electrical engineer for General Electric and later retired from Stouffers Food Company. He went to Windsor Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing and watching the Cleveland Indians baseball. He especially loved being with his family.
David is survived by his beloved wife Mary of 52 years; two daughters, Ruth (Martin) Baker of Mesopotamia and Karen (Jay) Blehi of Windsor; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Daniel) Schmidt, Miranda (Mike) Hayes, Mason (Marcella) Baker; his great granddaughter Ana Rose Schmidt; and his brother Gerald (Laurel) Tatsch of Willowick. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on a later date to celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave, Cleveland, OH 44110.
