David A. Bell passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Ohman Family Living at Briar.
David was born on October 2, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Kenneth and Marion (Lofgren) Bell. He graduated from Berkshire High School in 1961. David married Cecilia Linda (DiDomenico), and together they raised two sons, David and Jeffrey.
David worked in inventory control and was employed by Black & Decker, Lucas Aerospace, and Strong Tool over the course of his career. He was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and the Parkman 55 Club. David loved camping, and his true passion was travel. He enjoyed exploring all across the United States—from Miami to Montana—and even traveled to Canada.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Linda; his sons, David and Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Ashley Reichert, Rowan Bell, and Morgan Bell, great grandchildren, Abigail Isabella, Carter Reichert and Scarlett Reichert and his brother, Kenneth (Maxine) Bell.
David was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Linda Deans.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield.
Additional calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 10:00–11:00 a.m. at St. Lucy Catholic Church, with Mass immediately following at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Father Jacob Bearer.
