Darrell Ray Keeney

Darrell Ray Keeney Sr, 71 of Mantua went home to be with Jesus, his Lord and Savior on Tuesday September 10, 2019.  Darrell was born March 21, 1948 in Charleston, WV. to the late Hewitt and Alberta (Burke) Keeney.  He was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather, and great grandfather. He retired from Dillen Products, in 2010, where he worked in the shipping department. He taught Sunday School for 37 years at Faith Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.  

He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Barbra (Pitt) Keeney, daughter, Laura Keeney Harmotta of Mantua, son, Darrell Keeney, sister, Carol (Jim) Keeney Arthur of Clendenin, WV., grandchildren, J.P. (Becky) Harmotta, Josh Harmotta, Jared Harmotta, great grandchildren, Kira Harmotta, Tegan Harmotta, and his nephew, Brian Jones.  He was preceded in death by his parents. 

In accordance with Darrell’s wishes cremation has taken place. 

A Memorial and Celebration of his life will be held Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Faith Baptist Church, 12010 Snow Rd, Burton, OH 44021.  Pastor David Ray will be officiating.
