Dan C. Byler, 88 years, 5 Months, 22 days, of 5635 Ensign Road, W. Farmington, Ohio, passed away May 25, 2020 at Geauga Regional Hospital. He was born January 3, 1932 in Burton, Ohio to the late Crist D. and Mary (Gingerich) Byler. He was a member of the Old Amish Church and a dairy farmer.
He is survived by 4 sons, 4 daughters, Esther (Crist) Kauffman, Joe (Sara Mae) Byler, Alma (Melvin) Kauffman, Edna (Sam) Kauffman, Dan (Sara) Byler, Elvesta (Robert) Miller, Crist (Barbara) Byler, Allen (Edna Mae) Byler, 56 grandchildren, 218 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Barbara Ann (Crist) Miller and 1 sister-in-law, Betty (Daniel) Burkholder.
He was married to Mary (Yoder) Byler for 66 years. She died July 7, 2019. Also preceding him in death was his parents, 1 grandchild, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Visitation anytime at the Crist Byler residence, 5635 Ensign Road, West Farmington, Ohio 44491. Services will be held Thursday, May 28th, 2020, at 9:30 am, with Bishop Mark Yoder officiating. Final resting place at Troyer Cemetery.
