Clement G. Craig 93 of Middlefield passed away Wednesday April 29, 2020 at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born January 1, 1927 in New Burlington, Ohio to the late Raymond and Vesta (Battles) Craig. Clement served in the US Army during the World War II Era. He was the Scout Master for Troop #195 in Chesterland and attended Chesterland Baptist Church. He was a charter member of the Middlefield Historical Society and served on the zoning appeal board for Village of Middlefield. He retired from Moss Farm Dairy in Chesterland. Clement enjoyed gardening, carpentry, and volunteering at the Depot dipping Ice Cream.
He will be missed dearly by his friends and family; his 3 sons, Jack (Denise) Craig of Kent, Daniel (Tracy Weller) Craig of Middlefield, and Robert (Dorothy) Craig of Claridon; 2 daughters-in-law, Jackie Craig of Phoenix, AZ and Mary Craig of Chardon, grandchildren, Jennifer, Timothy, Joni, Monica, Angela, Jeanne, Larry, and Jason; 16 great grandchildren, sisters, Ida Bell Schwartz of CA, and Betty Parks of Kirtland. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ellen R. Craig, son Jerry L Craig, his granddaughter Sara E. Craig, brother, Lesley C. Craig, sisters, Ruth Schultz and Elizabeth Craig.
Private Family Service was held, and he will be laid to rest with his wife in Middlefield Cemetery.
