Clara Marie Simon, 88 of Middlefield passed away Thursday April 30, 2020 at Briar Hill Nursing Home. She was born June 9, 1931 in Middlefield to the late Victor and Victoria (Majcher) Karasiewicz. She was a cashier at White Bros. for 30 years. Clara was one of the first members of St. Lucy Catholic Church in Middlefield, a member of the Middlefield Senior Center, and enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Tami (Jerome) Farrar, Tally (Walt) Hostetler both of Middlefield, 5 grandchildren, Matthew Farrar, Nicole Farrar, Ashley Farrar, Tyler (Rebecca) Hostetler, Jeremy Hostetler, 2 great grandchildren, Wyatt and Emryn Hostetler, and baby Hostetler on the way. Her sisters, Victoria Sefcik, Stefeny (Arnie) Sabo, and sisters-in-law, Joan Carpenter, and Florence Simon. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Simon whom she married September 6, 1958, sisters, Jean George, Jessie Flood, Jennie Markuszka, Ada Loza, brothers, John Ziegfield, Walter Karasiewicz, Roger Karasiewicz, and Stan Karey.
A Private Graveside Service was held in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
