Christine Francisco Obituary
Christine Francisco, 82 of Newbury, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Ohman Family Living at Holly Hill in Newbury. She was born on May 24, 1938 in Pikeville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Jessie and Zettie (Goff) Kendrick. Christine was a custodian for the Newbury School district for 25 years. Before working at Newbury School, she worked at Great Lakes Cheese in Newbury. She was a member of the Chardon Senior Center, where she enjoyed socializing, scheduled outings, playing bingo, and cards. She also loved taking pictures of her family and friends. At her home, in Newbury, she loved working in her yard, bird watching, growing flowers, and gardening. Christine had a “green thumb” and could grow anything! She was also a very spiritual person, who enjoyed going to Church, reading the Bible, and was a member of the women’s church fellowship group. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Christine is survived by her three sons, Tim (Diane), Tom (Shelly) and Mike (Jennifer) Francisco, six grandchildren, Tom Jr., Michael, Emily, Joe, Chrissy, and Troy; two great grandchildren, Layla and Sonny. She is also survived by two sisters, Brenda Adams (Kendrick) and Anna Gail Hall (Kendrick), and four brothers, Larry, Ronnie, Gary, and Randy Kendrick. She is preceded in death by her husband Ralph E Francisco who died in 1987, her parents, her sister Jessie Lou Keene (Kendrick), and two brothers, Cecil and Eugene Kendrick.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday October 24, 2020 at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield, OH 44062. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Munn Cemetery following the service. Please wear masks for services.
