Christina Tonya-Myers Obituary
Christina Lynn Tonya-Myers, 48 of Mineral Ridge (formerly of Warren) passed away a St. Elziabeth Hospital Monday May 2, 2022. She was born December 3, 1973, in Barberton, Ohio to Daryle and Yvonne (Heckathorn) Hornberger. She graduated from Niles High School and went on to get her Culinary Arts degree. Christina enjoyed cooking, listing to music, singing, dancing, and traveling, but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Mariah Rene (Nick) Grover, Amanda (Lucas) McNevin, Miraclelynn Myers, Robert Myers, grandchildren, Olivya, Connor, Lucas Jr, Layla, and Lilly, her father Daryle Hornberger, , brothers, Christopher Hornberger, Jeremy (Laurie) Hornberger, George Lisle, Harry Lisle, and her best friend Leona Chapline. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Tonya, mother, Yvonne Hornberger, and a brother, James Lisle.
Calling hours will be held Friday May 6, 2022, from 11:00AM until her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery Chapel. 8802 State Route 534, Mesopotamia, Ohio 44439. Pastor Paul Armitage from North Mar Church will be officiating the services. She will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery following the service.
