She loved every year going to the Great Geauga County Fair. Entering fair items and just being there sitting was an enjoyment and looking over all the exhibits. She loved flowers, card making, diamond painting, knitting, crocheting, ceramics, and being creative. Cheryl was a tour guide at the Century Village in Burton where she gave tours on history to adults and school groups. She raised guinea pigs where she entered them in the fair and won best of show and breed many years. She was a former member of the Auburn Vol. Fire Aux, “the Siren and Devils for 20 years, was a volunteer for the “Twigs” UH Geauga Hospital, past President of the Historical Engine Society, member of Cavy Club, American Cavy Breeders Assn., also a member of the Bainbridge Senior Center, and the D.T.J Taborville, Chagrin Fall, Ohio, Maytag Collectors Club, Western Reserve Insulator Club, Geauga County and US Humane Society, and was a member of the Vogan Singing Group Club
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Scott (Danielle) Krol of Hartville, Ohio, (Zachary and Erin, Medina, Ohio) and many friends. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her ex-husband and friend to the end , Marc P. Krol.
A Private Graveside service was held at Shadyside Cemetery in Auburn where she was laid to rest next to her mother.
