Carolyn M Harrill

Carolyn M. Harrill, 69, of Burton, formerly of Middlefield, passed away on March 5, 2025, at Burton Healthcare.

Carolyn was born on May 16, 1955, in Connellsville, PA, to the late George and Vergie (Davis) Harrill. She was a graduate who went on to earn her associate degree and worked as a nurse's aide at Holly Hill Nursing Home in Newbury Township, Ohio. A proud member of the U.S. Army, Carolyn's patriotism was a core part of who she was.

Carolyn was an active member of the 1st Assembly of God in Lyndhurst, Ohio. She had a variety of interests, including solving word search and Sudoku puzzles, baking her famous lasagna for her family, and enjoying episodes of The Andy Griffith Show. Her beloved cat, Patches, was another great source of joy in her life.

She will be greatly missed by her loving family, including her brothers: Jim (Fran) Ivan, David (Carol); sisters: Anna (Lewis) Reid, Deloris (Bill) Kaser, and Sharon Aaron; sister-in-law, Dian; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers Louis and Dennis, as well as sisters-in-law, Diana and Jan.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 10, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio with a service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Continenza officiating. A family graveside service will follow on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Eutsey Cemetery in White, PA. with Pastor Randy Kaser officiating.
