Carol Kadas Obituary

Carol M. Kadas, age 81, of Burton, formerly of Willoughby, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

She was born on February 10, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Arthur Marshall and Elsie (Dreisel). After graduating from high school, Carol lived a full and meaningful life. She married her best friend, Paul G. Kadas, and together they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage, raising two children, Paul and Diane.

Carol worked for many years with the United States Postal Service before retiring. She was also actively involved in 4-H with her daughter and had a lifelong passion for horses—owning, raising, and breeding them with great care and love. She was an avid sports fan who never missed an opportunity to watch a game. She also loved to travel. Carol cherished the log home and farm that she and Paul built together, which became a place of pride, comfort, and cherished memories.

She will be deeply missed by her children, Paul A. (Roseanne) Kadas and Diane L. (Keith) Paquin; her grandchildren, Alexandra Paquin, Emily Kadas (Matt Grazia), Sarah Kadas, and Margaret Kadas; nephews Garry (Rosemary) Connors, Garrett (Katelan) Connors; cousins Margaret Anderson and Patricia (Edward) Baldzicki, and many family friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Paul.

Carol will be remembered for her strong spirit, and her deep love for family, friends and animals.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
