Brandyn Joseph Metzko

Brandyn Joseph Metzko left us too soon on Saturday February 14, 2026 at the age of 44. Brandyn was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing. Brandyn was born on July 8, 1981. Brandyn earned the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Music from Cleveland State University and Master of Science in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. 

Brandyn will be remembered by his unconditional love for music and humanity. Brandyn started numerous community music groups throughout the country. He loved everyone and gave everything he had to ensure the happiness of the community around him. Brandyn’s legacy will live on through his music and his influence on so many around him. Most notably, Brandyn was one of the founding members of the Lake Erie Wind Quintet - a group of individuals that he cared about deeply. Brandyn was also a member of the North Royalton Community Band and the Blue Cadillac, a jazz/rock/blues band. 

Brandyn leaves behind a group of loved ones that is heartbroken about his passing. His loved ones have promised to ensure Brandyn’s legacy lives on through his music. Brandyn cherished his relationship with Boki and his two cats, Marshall-Marshall and Junestone. He is survived by his father, Joe, and his brothers, Luke, Brian, and Michael. 

Brandyn’s loved ones are going to celebrate Brandyn’s life on Sunday March 8, 2026 at 4 pm at the United Methodist Church of Brookpark located at 6220 Smith Road, Cleveland, OH 44142.
