Bobbie Whaley Obituary

 

Bobbie Jean Whaley, age 93 of Coshocton, formerly of Chardon, passed away on September 9, 2021, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, Ohio. She was born on January 1, 1928, in Cornettsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Hollie and Amanda (Fugate) Riddle. Bobbie Jean worked as a machine operator for Chardon Metal. She was a member of the River Church, the Hartsgrove Assembly For Christ Church, and the Burton Free Methodist Church. Bobbie was an ordained minister in full gospel mission.

She loved playing the guitar, gospel music, and reading.

She is now playing gospel music with her guitar in heaven with the others.

She will be missed by her family and friends, her daughter Linda Weber, three sons, Jack (Pat) Ross, Tom (Carla) Ross, and Larry (Mary) Ross, 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Whaley of 38 years, who died Jan. 14, 2019, her parents, three sons, Henry, Bobby Jo, and Danny Ross, son in law, John Weber, 2 granddaughters, 1 great granddaughter, three brothers and 2 sisters.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High St., Middlefield, OH 44062 at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 25, 2021. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua, Ohio.
