Bobbette Portman Obituary
Bobbette “Bobbie J.” Bollinger- Portman 86, of Troy, Ohio passed away at Heather Hill Nursing Home on Wednesday October 19, 2022. Bobbie was born to the late Jack Edwards and Eldora (Standard) Grodzik on January 17, 1936, in Lincoln Nebraska. She graduated from Newbury High school and had an array of interests which included baking, word search puzzles and most of all her family. She also was involved in the Burton Women’s Fire Auxiliary, the Dolphin Club and Jolly Holly’s.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Michael (Robyn) Bollinger, Jack (Gloria) Bollinger, Bambi (Tom) Davis, Scott Bollinger, and her 15 grandchildren and 21 (with 1 one the way) great grandchildren. Sisters Patty Lekon, Peggy (Donald) Bartko, Jackie (Jim) Elco, Vivian Hart, Delma Yoder, Carolyn (Jack) Bennitt, Donna
(Craig) Loney and Andrea Koontz. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Jim Bollinger (1977) and Louis Portman (2020) and grandson Christopher Bollinger.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 PM and her funeral will be at 3:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High Street Middlefield Ohio with Pastor Roy Williams officiating.
