Obituary
Arnett “Arnie” Wright Ball Jr. 68 of Middlefield passed away at his home Friday January 27, 2023. He was born in Claridon June 28, 1954. He attended Cardinal High School. Arnie served in the US Army in Germany. His passion was going to and working at auctions. He collected horse memorabilia.
He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Steve (Joyce) Ball of Chesterland, Debra (David) Raymer of FL, Murray (Maggie) Gibson of GA, Mike Gibson of FL, Matthew (Angie) Gibson of GA, Brenda Skoda of TN, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from West Virgina, Georgia and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Ball who passed away in 1996, mother, Flora Dot (Ball) Gibson, father, Arnett Ball, and his brother, James Michael Ball.
Calling hours will be held Saturday February 4, 2023 at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St, Middlefield, OH 44062, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM followed by Military Honors with the Atwood-Mauck American Legion Post #459 of Burton, and then a time of sharing by family and friends.
Memorial donations can be made to the DONEL C. KINNARD MEMORIAL STATE VETERANS CEMETERY, 130 Academy Drive, Dunbar, WV 25064 in Arnie’s name.
