Anne was born September 23, 1935 in Cambridge, Ohio to Richard and Esther (nee Stritmatter) Caslow.

Anne graduated in 1952 from Middlefield High School where she was a cheerleader and where she met her future husband, Ted.
After a year in Washington, D.C. where she attended Mount Vernon College, Anne married Theodore Wayne Reed on December 28, 1954. They lived on the West Coast in California and Washington in 1955 and 1956 while Ted served in the U.S. Navy.

Anne was a loving mother and a caring and thoughtful grandmother and great grandmother. She easily made friends throughout her life and she particularly kept and cherished her lifelong friends from her school days.
Anne loved to cook, loved animals, was interested in music, current events, world affairs and was an avid Indians fan.
Anne and Ted loved to travel and made several cross-country driving trips visiting National Parks along the way. They traveled to Asia, visiting Hong Kong, China and the Philippines where Ted had been stationed in the Navy. They also took several ocean cruises including to Alaska and to South America via the Panama Canal and a river cruise in Europe.
Anne loved spending time with her family at the lakefront cottage originally built by her grandparents on Lake Erie near Sandusky.
She is survived by her sons, Ted (Karen) and Jeff, brother Richard (Peg) Caslow in California, sister Jane Eaton, grandchildren Christina Reed, Jennifer (TJ) Vanek, Anthony (Lana) Reed, and great grandchildren Abbagail Miller, James Miller, Aubrey Vanek, and Parker Reed.
