Andrew Mark Miller

Andrew Mark Miller, aged 55, from Mesopotamia, OH went to be with Jesus Wednesday evening, January 27, 2021 while being surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 14, 1965 at Warren, OH to Melvin E. and Lydia (Miller) Miller.

Andrew was a special young man with Down’s Syndrome and was loved by everyone! He graduated from Fairhaven School and was involved in their work program, working at various places including Middlefield’s Pizza Hut. Andrew also did some piece work at home for a local factory. He loved studying his Bible while taking lots of notes and filled many notebooks with his writings. Andrew was an entertainer and could “preach” from his pulpit and play his guitar for his adoring audiences, usually his nieces and nephews. He loved holiday and birthday celebrations with the family and celebrated his last birthday with a drive-through party, due to Covid. Andrew had a great sense of humor and kept us in stitches with his funny sayings.

In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by his siblings, sister Prisilla Sue Byler (John Allen Byler), brothers Robert Lee Miller (Rhoda Miller), James Conrad Miller (Anna Lois Dietz) and Myron Lynn Miller (Rosina Mast) all from Mesopotamia, OH. He was predeceased by his foster brother, Danny Flanagan, with whom he shared many happy memories.

Calling hours are to be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral planned for Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 10:00 am. Both events will be held at the Mespo Center, 4300 Kinsman Rd., Mesopotamia, OH. Burial will take place at the Pilgrim Mennonite Church cemetery.
