Anastasia E. (Dubis) Simmons

Anastasia E. Simmons, 79, of Troy, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

She was born on August 26, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Stanley and Katherine (Farren) Dubis.  Anastasia married Kenneth W. Simmons in 1969, and together they raised three children.

Anastasia worked as a payroll specialist for the Carlisle Group and Mercury Plastics. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and cooking for her family and loved ones.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, Ken Simmons; daughters, Anissa (Jason) Roeper and Kelly (Chris Domonkos) Simmons; son, Kenneth (Helen) Simmons, Jr.; grandchildren, Aiden Roeper, Emma Simmons, Ethan Domonkos, and Gavin Domonkos; sisters, Josephine (Ron) Kolach and Geraldine Kopcak; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Ryon Kolach.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield. Prayers will follow the calling hours at 4:00 PM, with Father Jacob Bearer officiating.
