Alverta Mae (Dryer) Varat

Alverta Mae "Birdie" Varat 93 of Middlefield passed away at her home on December 3rd, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 17, 1930, in Shaker Hts, to the late Frank W. and Grace (French) Dryer. Birdie worked for Chardon Rubber where she retired in 1993. She liked to cook, play cards, work on word search puzzles, put together puzzles and enjoyed sitting outside in the sun people watching.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Pat Rulong, grandchildren, Frank (Angela) Rulong, Keli (Jon) 
Rulong, Beth Moody, great grandchildren, Alexander, Allysons, Austin, Ava, Syrus, Jordan, Kayla, Lillian, great great grandchildren, Xavier, Mavrick, and Major. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank M. Varat, daughter, Pam Moody, her siblings, Jack, Dale, Waneta, Nancy, Rosie, and Dolly. 

A Private Family Graveside Service has been held and she was buried next to her husband in Middlefield Cemetery.
