Alfred “Boots” Lee Wright, 84 of Huntsburg passed away at his home Friday, July 10, 2020 with his family at his side. He was born May 10, 1936 in Pleasantville, PA to the late Frank and Bernice (Stoltz) Wright. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Boots was a feed grinder, worked for Huntsburg Township and retired from Cardinal Schools in June of 2005 where he was a van driver and custodian.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Anne (Polomsky) Wright who he married March 7, 1959, his daughter, Diane* (Scott) Baumgartner, sons, Alfred (Trish) Wright Jr, David (Rachel) Wright, Charlie* (Suzette) Wright, Jeffery Wright, grandchildren-Heather, Ryan, Ashleigh*, David(Lauren), Dylan, Devon, Lee, Todd(Rebekah) and Kaylee, great grandchildren-Dylan, Hunter, Thea and Kinsley. His sister Carol Blymiller and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister Viola and brothers Axel, Edward, Kenneth, Darwin and Frank.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Huntsburg Community Center, 12396 Madison Rd, Huntsburg, OH. Military Honors will be held at 3:30 PM. At this time, social distancing regulations will be observed and masks will be required.
