Adrienne Eleanor (Jeffers) Crotty

Adrienne Eleanor Crotty, 80 of Nelson Township, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center. She is “together again” with her beloved husband Dennis Crotty who died in 2013. She was born on December 26, 1939 in Bellaire, Ohio, daughter of the late Louis and Freda (Lisk) Jeffers. Adrienne married Dennis Crotty March 10, 1965 and lived in Nelson Township. She retired from Geauga Industries where she helped organize the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union # 1902. Adrienne was an avid Cleveland sports fan for all teams and Ohio State sports. She enjoyed reading, watching the Hallmark Channel and sitting on the glider watching rabbits and loved being with her dog Stubs and cat Mr Kittie. She especially enjoyed going on trips to Myrtle Beach, family pizza night and enjoyed eating Almond Joys but did not eat the Almonds.

She will be missed by her family and friends, her daughter Elaine (Chuck) Houser of Leavittsburg, two grandchildren, Michael Lee and Christian Houser, her Stubs and Mr Kittie, and her best friend Cecilia Easton. Adrienne is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Dennis of 47 years.

A Celebration of her life will be held 1:00 – 4:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Nelson Community Center, 11639 Windham Parkman Rd., Nelson Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, 812 Youngstown Kingsville Rd SE, Vienna, Oh 44473.
