Abraham A. Weaver, Jr., 84, of Middlefield, Ohio, passed away March 29, 2023. He was born November 27, 1938, to the late Abraham and Fanny Weaver. He worked for both Rimes Trucking and in the shipping department at Flambeau. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church in East Claridon. Abe was an excellent guitar player, enjoyed fishing and hunting, building model ships from wood by hand, and had previously pitched for several fast pitch softball teams in Chardon. His favorite meal was sauerkraut, dumplings, and pork roast, and you could always count on Abe to be first in line.
Abe will be sadly missed by his wife Alta, sons Jim (Linda) Weaver, Abe (Donna) Weaver, Alan (Gary Wrzesinski) Weaver, stepson Kevin Yoder, step daughters Karen (Will) Davidson, Cherie Fabian, 5 beloved step grandchildren, 1 beloved step great granddaughter. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Laverne Weaver, and 16 brothers and sisters.
Viewing will be Saturday, April 8, 2023, from 10:00 - 12:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High Street, Middlefield, Ohio. The funeral service will be at 12:00 at the funeral home with Karen Cicco officiating. Burial will follow at the East Claridon Cemetery
