Norma Jean Reber-Howes, 84 of Rootstown, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2019, surrounded by her family, at her son’s home in Hiram. She was born April 16, 1934 in Sardis, Ohio to the late Lester and Louise (Clegg) Price. Norma loved cooking, crafts and working in her flower beds. She retired from Colonial Rubber Co. after working there over 35 years. She was a member of USW Local 00298L and the Shop Stewart for many years. Norma was also a Nurse’s Aide at Robinson Hospital and care giver early in her life.
To cherish and carry on her memory are her children; James D. Reber of WV, Todd L. (Maureen) Reber of Hiram, Matt A. (Terry Marince) Reber of Fla., Kimberly J. (Mike) Pyles of Kent, Lisa M. Reber & Marcie A Howes both of Tallmadge. And friend and Companion Richard Wolford, grandchildren; Carla M. Reber, William J. Howard, Elizabeth J. Reber, Steven D. Reber, Corey J. Mills, Breanna J. (Tay) Woods, Marissa M. (Jacob) Fish, Hayley A. Pyles, & Michael A. Pyles; and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her ex-husband Archie Lex Reber and her husband William J. Howes; two children, Christine B. Reid, daughter and son Mark S. Reber.
