Newell “Bo” George Beaumier, age 78 of Burton, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Briar Hill Health Care with his family by his side. He is “Together Again” with is beloved wife Judith Seufer Beaumier who passed away December 4, 2018. He married Judy on November 28, 1964. They were married 54 years before she passed away. Newell was born on June 28, 1941 in Cleveland, son of George and Marjorie (Malborn) Beaumier. After he graduated from Collinwood High School in 1960, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 – 1964. During that time, he attended Maryland State University. He worked in construction for Newmar Construction and was a member of the Amazing Grace Church in Highland Hts. When they moved to Burton “Bo” became a member and was very active with the American Legion Post #459 Atwood Mauck for years and a member of the Masonic Village Lodge in Burton. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
He is survived by his four children, Kathlyn (Roger) McGahey of Chagrin Falls, Wayne Beaumier Sr. of Houston, Craig (Charina) Beaumier of Galena, and Diana (Ronnie) Richmond of Munroe Falls, grandchildren, Wayne Jr., Marissa, Alexander, Cierra, Roger, Joseph, Veronica, Sharon and Ron’Angelo, and a great grandchild Mariah, his brother Mark (Gerri) Beaumier, sister Claire (Phil) Nicholson and a brother-in-law Gus Cratcha. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Julie Cratcha.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 3:00 -7:00 PM with a Masonic Service at 6:15 PM and an American Legion Service at 6:45 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High St., Middlefield, OH 44062. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 17, 2020 at Amazing Grace Church, 5632 Wilson Mills Rd., Highland Hts., OH 44143. Burial will be at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield.
