Joseph Allen Schlevenski, 77 of Parkman, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at David Simpson Hospice House. He was born in Reading, PA on September 20, 1942 to Joseph and Marion D. Schlevenski. He was a graduate of N. Madison High School and received his bachelor’s degree in education at Ohio State. He married Bonnie Fiske on July 3, 1972 and lived in N. Madison, Huntsburg, and then in Parkman. Joseph was a teacher at Collinwood High School and at Madison High School. He also was a freshman wrestling coach for both schools. Joseph enjoyed roller-skating, so he started teaching roller-skating, and was a manager of Laura’s Roller Emporium in Painesville till it closed. He then was a car salesman for Preston and Junction Sales. He also drove taxi for the Amish.
He is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie of 47 years, his sister Joyce Carhu and his nephew and niece.
His wishes were to be cremated and no services held.
