John H. Mansfield

John Mansfield, 65, of Mentor, passed away July 12, 2019.  He was born August 15, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to Howard and Ethel (Friihauf) Mansfield.  He was a life-long resident of Northeast Ohio.  John was employed by the Mayfield City School System as a custodian for many years until his retirement.  He was a member of the Kirtland Bethel Bible Church.  John was known to always kiss his mother goodbye every time he left the house, travelling on bus tours, watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeye’s football team, and collecting many things including Western wear and belt buckles.

John is survived by his parents Howard and Ethel Mansfield, his brother Denis Mansfield, and his sister Kathleen (John) Marn.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM, August 10, 2019  at Kirtland Bethel Bible Church, 10172 Chillicothe Road, Kirtland, OH 44094
