Denise M (Miller) Baggett

Denise M. (Miller) Baggett, 80 of Windsor, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born on April 22, 1938, daughter of the late Fred J. and Thelma May (Shippy) Miller. She was a graduate of Kenston High School and lived in the Geauga County area until 1993, moving to Windsor. Denise retired from Stock Equipment in Chagrin Falls, where she was a Secretary in the purchasing department. After retirement she enjoyed an active life on the farm, gardening, canning, homemaking and caring for the farm’s many animals over the years.  She was a 4-H Advisor during her daughter’s 4-H years and was an active member of Maple View Church.  She enjoyed time with family, friends and worshiping with her church family.

She will be missed dearly by her family and friends, her daughter Dawn Skala, her sister Patricia Scotland, her nieces, Diane Balish, Leisa (Brian) Kinnison, Carla (Eric)Young, Stacy Williams and her nephew, Craig Scotland.  Dumper Doo and Sophie were her cats and constant companions.  She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and brother-in-law Frank Scotland.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Maple View Church, 14890 Burton Windsor Rd., Burton, Oh 44021. She will be buried at a later date in Restland Cemetery in Bainbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Maple View Church.
