Bruce Mahler Obituary

Bruce A. Mahler, October 27, 1931 – December 21, 2019. Our loving husband, father, and grandfather went to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, December 21, 2019. He passed away peacefully after many years of battling heart troubles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Dora (Leuschel) Mahler, his brother Jim, his son Bruce Allan and his grandson Bruce Michael.

He is survived by his wife Ruth (Dehlinger), his first wife Carol Kruger, his daughters, Darlene Mahler and Debra (William) Selander, two grandchildren, Matthew (Regan) Selander and Elise Selander, and was a dear uncle to many.

Bruce was always a very compassionate, giving and faithful man. He spread so much joy to all who knew him. He built and gave away 1800 wooden toy trucks. He also enjoyed fishing for 15 years with his friend Tom McCauley, and he also had a strong love of music. He will be greatly missed.

A private burial has taken place at the Lutheran Cemetery in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date.
